Here it is November 1st, one month since our kitchen project started. I had hoped it would be completed by Halloween...that was before we had a few surprises.
Fortunately, we are starting to see progress. Our new floors are in, the sofits have been removed, drywalled, textured and painted. Electrical work is nearly completed (did I mention the illegal electrical work that was discovered in the kitchen?). Most of the cabinets were installed today and should be finished tomorrow. The granite comes Monday and then the tile back splash can be installed.
We were hoping the kitchen would be finished before Chad's mom and sister came for their visit (they arrive on the 3rd), but we are confident it will be done before they leave.
