This is our yard now. Chad moved all the roses that were along the left side of the walk way, to the front of the house near the fence. 
We made both sides of the walk way more uniform with rock and boxwood plants. 
Along the fence, we put in a variety of plants and decorative grasses, including some aspen trees. We added a large boulder too.
I'm hoping all of the roses we transplated will come back...we may have to wait until next spring to find out.
